My local fire extinguisher refill service professional explained how this is a scam. It can be refilled, but First Alert designed it so that opening it to refill it destroys a unique gasket. The replacement part is proprietary, and it can only be replaced by paying more than the cost of buying a new PRO10. The same service person recommended several other brands. Examples are Amerex and Kidde.

Needs more variety of detection.

Crap product. I had mine for a year and its now malfuntioning. We can't change the battery and it goes off at random times. That is super annoying. Its too sensitive on top of that. If we leave the bathrrom door open after a shower. The detector goes off because there is too much steam coming out of bathroom. We decided to get a different brand since this one sucks.

I have not seen a good result from people who tested that and made videos about this product. It seems like they don’t work. Everybody has seen a good video. Please share about this brother. I bought one and I’m thinking to take it back right now.

Might wanna make the gas sensor more sensitive. I ran a true test of the gas sensor and nothing happened. However when testing the carbon monoxide sensor, it picked it up and sounded within the 4-15 minutes.
